LLM SEO Team: Specialized AI Assistants for Recurring Tasks.
Pre-built AI assistants for meta descriptions, FAQ generation, content briefings and header structures. Each assistant receives the page context automatically as input and delivers results you can use right away. See the PRO overview or the documentation overview.
PRO feature. AI costs run directly through your own API key with the respective provider.
What the LLM SEO Team does in SEOMURAI
While the Prompt Library in the free tier is a collection of texts that you paste into an AI tool yourself, the LLM SEO Team goes one step further: specialized assistants receive the page context automatically as input and send the request to a configured AI provider directly. The result appears in the response window, ready to copy to the clipboard or to process further.
Each assistant is tailored to one specific SEO task: meta description, title variants, FAQ generation, content briefing, header structure, content summary, schema suggestions and more. You can extend the list with your own assistants for tasks you run repeatedly.
When the LLM SEO Team pays off most
- When you produce meta descriptions in bulk for many subpages, for example after a relaunch.
- When you extend existing articles with an FAQ section containing thematically fitting questions.
- When you prepare briefings for writers, based on a competitor page that already ranks well.
- When you want to generate a short summary of a long article for newsletters or social media.
- When you need structured data as a JSON-LD skeleton and want a first draft in seconds.
Step by step
1. Store your AI provider and key
Go to Settings → Credentials and enter the API key of the AI provider you want to use (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or OpenRouter). With AI Presets you can configure multiple providers in parallel and switch between them directly in the Team tab.
2. Open the LLM SEO Team and choose an assistant
Go to AI & Automation → LLM SEO Team. You will see the list of pre-built assistants, grouped by task area. Choose the assistant that matches your current task, for example “Meta description in 150 characters” or “FAQ section with five questions”.
3. Run the assistant
Click “Run”. SEOMURAI bundles the page context (title, description, headings, main content, schema) and sends the complete request to your configured AI provider. The result appears in the response window, usually within a few seconds, depending on the model.
4. Use the result, rate it or iterate
You can copy the result straight to the clipboard, give it a star rating (for later evaluation in the AI history) or use it as the starting point for a revision. If the answer should be shorter, more formal or focused differently, click “Refine” and add a specific instruction.
If you run the assistant through OpenRouter, the result also shows the API cost of the query, and the same cost appears in the AI history. OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini do not return money costs via their APIs, so no cost is displayed for those providers. You can hide the cost lines with the “Show API costs” setting under Settings → General (enabled by default).
5. Add your own assistants
Via “Create new assistant” you can define your own specialized assistant: name, task area, and a prompt template with placeholders for page data. The new assistant appears in the list immediately and remains available in future sessions. Via Settings → Backup & Restore you can transfer your own assistants between devices as a file export and import.
Frequently Asked Questions
Tips and frequently asked questions
How does the LLM SEO Team differ from the SEOMURAI Chatbot?
The Chatbot is an open dialog: you ask free-form questions and hold a conversation with the AI provider. The LLM SEO Team is a collection of specialized one-click actions for recurring tasks. The two complement each other: you use the Team for the 80 percent of routine work that stays the same, and the Chatbot for the individual questions that no standard assistant covers.
Which AI provider delivers the best results?
As a rule of thumb, current models from all major providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) deliver very usable results for editorial tasks. For highly structured tasks (such as JSON-LD generation), models with strong code understanding (Claude, GPT reasoning models) are often more precise. Through OpenRouter you can try out several models without maintaining separate accounts.
How high are the token costs per run?
That depends on the model and the input size. For a typical meta description with a compact page context, the cost with current models is usually a fraction of a US cent. For very long contexts or premium models, the costs rise accordingly. You will find concrete amounts in your provider’s price list. If you use OpenRouter, SEOMURAI shows the actual cost of each query directly in the result and in the AI history. OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini do not return money costs via API, so there is no cost display for those providers. The display can be turned off with the “Show API costs” setting under Settings → General.
Where do I find past responses?
In the AI history, which stores all requests together with the response, rating, model and date locally in chrome.storage. OpenRouter queries additionally show their API cost in the history entry. Using the filters, you can view all responses, only those for the current URL, or only those with a specific rating. Over time this builds a collection of your own best results.
Can I share assistants with colleagues?
Yes. Via Settings → Backup & Restore you export your complete SEOMURAI configuration (including all of your own assistants and prompts) as a file. Colleagues import the file and continue working with the same collection immediately. No separate cloud synchronization is required.
