Installation

Install the Extension
Install bulkU from the Chrome Web Store. The extension is compatible with all Chromium-based browsers including Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera.

Pin the Extension
After installation, pin the bulkU extension to your browser toolbar for easy access. Click the puzzle icon in your toolbar and click the pin icon next to bulkU.

Installation Complete! You’re now ready to start using bulkU. The extension icon should be visible in your browser toolbar.
Your First URL List
Let’s walk through a simple example to get you started with bulkU.

Open bulkU
Click the bulkU icon in your browser toolbar. The extension will open in the sidebar, showing your default group.

Add URLs
There are several ways to add URLs to bulkU:
Copy & Paste: Copy URLs from anywhere (Excel, Screaming Frog, websites) and paste them into the text area
Import from File: Click “Import from File” and select a .txt, .csv, or .json file
Get Open Tabs: Click “Get Open Tabs” to add all currently open tabs
Click “Add URLs” when you’re done. Duplicates are automatically removed!

Review Your URLs
Your URLs appear in a list below. You can:
Check/uncheck URLs to select which ones to open
Use filters to find specific URLs
Sort URLs alphabetically or by other criteria
Add tags to organize URLs

Configure Opening Settings
Before opening URLs, you can configure:
Delay: Time to wait between batches (default: 2 seconds)
Batch Size: Number of URLs to open at once (default: 10)
Limit: Maximum number of URLs to open (0 = no limit)
Open Mode: New tabs, new window, or tab group
Tip: Start with smaller batch sizes and longer delays to prevent browser overload, especially when opening many URLs.

Open URLs
Click “Open Selected” to open your checked URLs. bulkU will open them in batches according to your settings. You can watch the progress in the extension.

Export Your Data
You can export your URL list at any time:
CSV: Perfect for Excel or Google Sheets
JSON: Includes all metadata (tags, notes, etc.)
Copy: Copy all URLs to clipboard
